Kabab Bessainiyh with Tomato
A flavorful layer of minced lamb spread in a tray, topped with fresh tomato slices and green peppers. Oven-baked until the meat is perfectly cooked and the vegetables are tender and charred.

๐ฅ Ingredients
- 1 kg kebab
- 1 small onion inside the kebab
- 0.5 bunch parsley inside the kebab
- 0.5 kg tomatoes
- 1 green pepper (hot or sweet, as desired)
- 1 red pepper (hot or sweet, as desired)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
๐ฉโ๐ณ Instructions
- Wash the tomatoes and peppers, slice them 2 cm thick, and set aside.
- Knead the kebab mixture well until it becomes pliable. Spread it in a 2 cm thick baking dish and cut it into triangles if the dish is round, or squares if it's rectangular. Arrange the tomatoes and peppers on top of the kebabs, sprinkle with a little salt and black pepper, and place it on the bottom shelf of a preheated oven, covered with aluminum foil, for 1 hour. Remove the foil and leave it for another half 1 hour to brown and allow the liquid to evaporate.
