  1. Wash the tomatoes and peppers, slice them 2 cm thick, and set aside.
  2. Knead the kebab mixture well until it becomes pliable. Spread it in a 2 cm thick baking dish and cut it into triangles if the dish is round, or squares if it's rectangular. Arrange the tomatoes and peppers on top of the kebabs, sprinkle with a little salt and black pepper, and place it on the bottom shelf of a preheated oven, covered with aluminum foil, for 1 hour. Remove the foil and leave it for another half 1 hour to brown and allow the liquid to evaporate.
