  1. Cut the chicken breasts into cubes or strips, as you prefer, and marinate them in vinegar and salt for 1 hour. Drain and set aside. Heat the oil in a pot, add the onions, and sauté until golden brown. Add the chicken and stir it in with the onions for about 10 minutes.
  2. Add the chopped red and green bell peppers and sauté for a few minutes. Then add the seven-spice mix, followed by the tomatoes, tomato sauce, and water.
  3. Simmer over very low heat for about 1.5 hour, checking occasionally.
