Toasted vermicelli noodles mixed with coarse bulgur. A rustic and hearty side dish traditionally served with Okra stew (Bamia) or yogurt-based dishes.

๐ฅ Ingredients
- 1 kg coarse white bulgur
- 1 cup vermicelli
- 3 tablespoons ghee
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 4 cups boiling water
๐ฉโ๐ณ Instructions
- Put the ghee in a suitable pot and heat it, then add the vermicelli and toast it until it turns golden. Add the bulgur and toast it for 5 minutes, then add the boiling water and let it boil again. Cover it and wait until the water level drops below the bulgur, then reduce the heat to a quarter and leave it for about 10 minutes or until the water dries up.

This dish goes great with all yogurt dishes and okra with meat.

Garnish the bulgur and vermicelli dish with pickle slices and green cucumber.
