🥄 Ingredients
- 1 kg green beans (fresh or frozen)
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon ground coriander
- 0.5 tablespoon salt
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 4 medium tomatoes
- 1 cup good quality olive oil
👩🍳 Instructions
- Clean the green beans if they are fresh and cut them to your desired size. If they are frozen, soak them in boiling water immediately. Don't remove them from the freezer beforehand; transfer them directly from the freezer to the boiling water.
- Heat olive oil in a suitable pot. Add the garlic and sauté until golden brown. Then add the dried coriander and sauté with the garlic for 2-3 minutes. Add the green beans and sauté for 5 minutes. At this point, add the tomato paste, chopped tomatoes (not too large or too small), salt, and a cup of boiling water. Stir well, cover the pot, and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes, or until the green beans are tender.
